A rare collectible wall plaque made of bronze mounted on a wooden base. Diameter: 9,5 cm. The plaque features a high-relief profile of Adolf Hitler, executed with exceptional detail and craftsmanship. The artist’s initials "IWF" are visible in the lower left corner of the front side.
The reverse side is fitted with the original soft wool felt backing, which shows some damage, likely due to moth activity. A small hole at the top indicates it was designed for wall mounting.
Overall condition is excellent for its age: the bronze surface is intact with a beautiful patina, and the wooden base remains solid. Only the backing shows signs of wear.
Such plaques were used in official buildings and institutions during the Third Reich era. Today, pieces like this are extremely rare on the open market, especially in such well-preserved condition.
