Army (Heer) Dagger by Max Weyersberg WMW, Solingen. The nickel-plated steel blade is magnetic, with unsharpened edges, remaining bright and crisp with a sharp tip. The reverse ricasso is maker marked "WMW WAFFEN" (Max Weyersberg WMW, Solingen). The blade retains its crossgraining and natural shine, with scattered surface wear, rating extremely fine.

The thick black leather washer at the crossguard junction is intact. The crossguard features a finely-detailed Army eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, with oak leaf design on the ferrule and pommel, all with a dark patina. Very light contact marks are present on the pommel’s end.

The dark yellow celluloid grip features a series of ten parallel ridges, free of chipping. The scabbard is nicely pebbled, magnetic, with traditional oak leaf designs on the bands, each with rings, and two screws holding the throat in place. Dagger hangers have silver bullion uppers and olive green corduroy backers; the clips are unmarked. Contact marks are visible on the lower band, while the hangers remain without wear in the bullion.

Extremely fine.
