An excellent example of a short KS 98 dress bayonet, manufactured by Rudolf Büchel, Solingen-Merscheid. The nickel-plated blade is in outstanding condition, retaining its bright finish and crisp lines.
The ricasso bears the maker’s markings of Rudolf Büchel (Solingen-Merscheid).
The hilt features nickel-plated fittings and black checkered plastic grip plates in the traditional waffle pattern.
It comes complete with its original black-painted steel scabbard, black patent leather frog, and a standard portepee — forming a well-preserved and highly collectible set.
