This 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger is in good condition and is exceptionally clean overall. The blade is excellent, retaining its full original plating, and is clearly marked by E. & F. Horster of Solingen.
The grip is a very attractive yellow color and is fitted with its original tight and springy wire wrap. There are small hairline cracks present on the grip, consistent with age.
The scabbard is complete and intact, showing a very light and even age patina. There is one small, barely noticeable dent.
The dagger is complete with its original portepee, correctly tied to the grip in the proper and authentic knot.
An excellent item for addition to a collection. All mentioned minor flaws are clearly shown in the final photographs.
