25 Year Police Long Service Award is a high-quality early medal, made of a brass alloy (Tombak). Virtually all of the original factory applied gold finish remains intact on both sides of the medal. This fire-gilt finish is bright and beautiful, with wonderful luster and eye-catching burnished highlights. The suspension ring is intact, and there is no damage. The ribbon for this lovely medal is the correct cornflower blue type, with a Polizei emblem machine embroidered in gold-colored cotton.
