Rare collectible silver medal issued in 1933 to commemorate the Gedenkschiessen anlässlich der nationalen Erhebung des Deutschen Volkes (Memorial Shooting Competition on the Occasion of the National Uprising of the German People), held in Munich.

The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Adolf Hitler, surrounded by the inscription: REICHSKANZLER ADOLF HITLER. The reverse bears the central inscription: GEDENK SCHIESSEN ANLÄSSLICH DER NATIONALEN ERHEBUNG D. DEUTSCHEN VOLKES 27. AUG. M. 10. SEPT. 1933, with the surrounding legend: PRIV. FEUERSCHÜTZEN GESELLSCHAFT “DER BUND” MÜNCHEN.

The edge of the medal is marked with 999, indicating it is made of pure silver of the highest fineness.

The medal is preserved in its original gray presentation box, which remains in excellent condition without wear or damage. Included is the original paper packet in which the medal was originally stored. One side of the packet is printed with: Deschler & Sohn, Fabrik: Wirthstr. 25, Laden: Maderbräustr. 1, and the other side reads: Gedenkschiessen anlässlich der nationalen Erhebung des Deutschen Volkes. Durchgeführt von der sgl. priv. Feuerschützen-Ges. “Der Bund” München-Allach. 27. August bis 10. September 1933. The word “Silber” (silver) is handwritten on the packet.

Both the medal and packaging are in outstanding condition, with no signs of cleaning and a natural, noble patina. A rare historical piece of great interest to collectors of militaria, numismatics, and historical artifacts.
