This original badge was produced during World War II for the Polish Armed Forces in the West (PSZ na Zachodzie). Manufactured by the renowned British company J.R. Gaunt & Son Ltd in London, it was issued to Polish airmen serving alongside Allied forces.

Design: Features a stylized eagle in flight, clutching a laurel wreath in its beak and lightning bolts in its talons.

Reverse: Embossed with the maker's mark "J.R. Gaunt & Son Ltd London" and a threaded post for attachment.
